Originally a women’s hospital, Sarah Allen Senior Home (SASH) was renovated by FRP in 1996 into 87 apartments for low-income seniors. This beautiful historic building is a vital asset to the community, providing housing for elders and a meeting space for community events. With support from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s (PHS) City Harvest Program, we are working with neighborhood residents to build vegetable and flower gardens.
